The Green Fjord Conference will be held for the fourth time in 2020. In 2018, the Norwegian Parliament decided that all shipping in the World Heritage fjords will be emission-free from 2026. This means that no large cruise ships will be allowed to sail into Geiranger or Flåm from this year. How do we ensure that value creation in small rural communities does not fade and disappear? The Parliament’s ambition for emission-free World Heritage fjords will of course be discussed at the conference, along with other exciting topics such as new value creation all year round and sustainable development of local communities. The date is March 11 – 12, 2020!
